FAQ
Answers to common questions from employers, partners, and candidates.
We've never hired foreign workers before. Where do we start?
Start by submitting your workforce requirement through our employer form. We’ll schedule a call to understand your needs — sector, volume, timeline, and destination — and provide a clear outline of the process, costs, and realistic timelines for your specific situation. Most employers are surprised by how structured and manageable the process is once they have a guide.
What is the labour market test and do we always need to do it?
A labour market test requires you to demonstrate that no suitable domestic or EU/EEA candidate was available before hiring from outside the EU. Whether it applies depends on the country and permit type. In Poland, it was waived for most categories in June 2025. In Czech Republic, a 30-day posting period is mandatory. In Germany, it is waived for EU Blue Card applicants at the higher salary threshold. We manage this step on your behalf and tell you exactly what applies to your order.
What are our legal obligations once a foreign worker arrives?
Your key obligations are: registering the worker with social insurance on their first day; ensuring their address registration is completed within the required timeframe; keeping a copy of their permit on file; and tracking permit renewal dates. In Germany from January 2026, you are also required to inform workers of the immigration consequences of contract termination. We provide an onboarding compliance checklist for every placement.
What happens if a placed worker leaves within the first 90 days?
We offer a replacement guarantee for all placements. If a worker leaves within the guarantee period (typically 30–90 days depending on the service agreement), we provide a free replacement. The exact terms are defined in your service agreement before placement begins.
Can you supply workers for seasonal contracts, not just year-round?
Yes. Seasonal placements are one of our core services — particularly for hospitality and tourism employers in Croatia, Montenegro, Bulgaria, and Albania. Seasonal permits in these markets have simplified procedures compared to standard employment permits, and our team manages the accelerated process.
Do workers arrive with documents already in order?
Yes. We do not send candidates to employers until their permit is approved and their visa is issued. Workers arrive with valid documentation, confirmed accommodation arrangements, and a pre-departure briefing covering their role expectations and legal rights.
How do we pay you? Is it per worker or a monthly fee?
Our standard model is a per-placement fee paid by the employer after a worker successfully starts employment. Volume agreements with reduced per-head fees are available for orders of 20 or more workers. There are no monthly retainers or upfront fees for standard placement services.
We had a bad experience with a previous recruitment agency. What makes you different?
The most common complaints we hear about previous agencies are: candidates who didn’t show up, document errors that delayed permits, and disappearing after the placement fee was collected. Our process includes pre-departure verification of each candidate, a compliance checklist for every permit, and a 90-day post-placement check-in with both the employer and worker. We measure success by retention, not just placement.
